On Saturday, December 7th, the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> completed the first round of the Tournament of Champions at Pinehurst No. 8 \u00a0<\/a>in Pinehurst, NC. The skies were blue and the air was clear as the champions of the PKBGT\u2019s past calendar year took the course. <\/span><\/p>\n

The field of 78 competitors earned their spot in the tournament through <\/span>winning a tournament on the 2019 PKBGT Tour circuit, winning the 2019 Regional or National Order of Merit race in their respective division, finishing in the top of the field at 2019 PKBGT Championship Events or finishing runner up at PKBGT Classic events.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Players are split into two separate divisions of play: the Bell National Division<\/a> and the Prep Preview Division<\/a>. We take a look at where each division sits after the first round of play! <\/span><\/p>\n

Bell National\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

Currently tied for the lead in the Bell Division is Adrian Anderson (Murrells Inlet, SC 2022) and Sarah Im (Duluth, GA 2023) after posting rounds of one over par, 73 .<\/p>\n

Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
