Do you want a chance to play on the same course as the LPGA tour? How about an opportunity to qualify for an LPGA event at that very same course?<\/span><\/p>\n

The LPGA Pure Silk Girls Junior Championship<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The LPGA<\/a>, in partnership the Middle Atlantic PGA<\/a>, hosts the 2019 LPGA Pure Silk Girls Junior Championship<\/a> on May 4-5, 2019 at Kingsmill Resort<\/a> in Williamsburg, VA. The event will feature the best players from around the region and beyond. <\/span><\/p>\n

The All-Girls invitational tournament will be held on Kingsmill\u2019s River Course-the same course that the LPGA pros compete on at the LPGA Pure Silk Championship<\/a>, which takes place two weeks after the Junior Championship. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Courtesy of the MAPGA, the winner of the Pure Silk Girls Junior Championship receives an exemption into the Monday Qualifier of the LPGA Tour event, with a chance to play alongside LPGA Tour professionals on the River Course. They will be one of two amateurs with the opportunity to qualify for the event and the only junior to do so.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earn an exemption through the PKBGT<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour<\/a> is excited to announce that the Tour will be represented by several exemptions into the event. <\/span>Who can earn an exemption into the LPGA Pure Silk Girls Junior Championship?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The <\/span>top two <\/b>finishers in the Bell National<\/a> field of the 2019 PKBGT Commonwealth Classic<\/a> will automatically earn their exemption into the girls junior event at Kingsmill in May. The Commonwealth Classic will take place March 30-31, 2019 in Palmyra, VA at Lake Monticello GC and you can register for the event HERE<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

There will also be <\/span>eight exemptions <\/b>from the PKBGT Performance Index<\/a>. Interested players can learn more and register for the Performance Index exemptions HERE<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

About the PKBGT<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Founded in 2007 by the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, as a local girls\u2019 golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina, the tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player\u2019s pace.
