NCAA All-American and Four-Time ACC Coach of the Year to Make Guest Appearance at the 2018 PKBGT Inspire Dream Achieve Banquet

Greensboro, NC (October 25th, 2018) — The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKBGT) is pleased to announce that NCAA All-American golfer Emilia Migliaccio and former Wake Forest University Women’s golf coach Dianne Dailey will speak at the PKBGT’s annual Inspire. Dream. Achieve Banquet on Friday, November 9th at Bermuda Run Country Club in Advance, NC.

The banquet, which serves as a celebration of the PKBGT’s previous season by honoring Order of Merit winners and brings in special guests such as 2- time LPGA Champion Laura Diaz, falls on the evening before the first round of the PKBGT Invitational, one of the top-50 junior girls events in the country.

Dailey, who recently retired after coaching the Wake Forest University Women’s Golf Team for 30 years, led the Demon Deacons to 30 team titles, 39 individual titles, and 15 NCAA Championship appearances. She coached 28 All-Americans, 39 All-ACC selections, five ACC Players of the Year, four ACC Freshmen of the Year and this past year’s NCAA Individual Champion, Jennifer Kupcho. A four-time ACC Coach of the Year, Dailey has led the Deacons to four ACC Championship Titles, the second most by a single coach in the history of ACC Women’s Golf.

Migliaccio, a former PKBGT Invitational champion (2015), is currently in her sophomore year at Wake Forest University, just 15 miles up the road from Bermuda Run Country Club, the host of the 2018 PKBGT Invitational. Ranked 24th in the world by the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR), Migliaccio brings an extensive list of accolades, including 2018 NCAA 2nd Team All-American and WGCA All-American Scholar honors, was named the Atlantic-Coast Conference 2018 Freshman of the Year, has two individual collegiate titles and recently qualified and participated in the 2018 US Women’s Open this past May. In addition, Migliaccio is also a published author.

“The PKBGT is excited to welcome Dianne and Emilia to speak at our annual banquet on November 9th,” said PKBGT Tour Director, Mike Parker. “Both women will provide valuable knowledge about competitive golf and the what it takes to play at the collegiate level and beyond, which will greatly benefit this elite group of junior girl golfers.”

All proceeds from the Inspire. Dream. Achieve. Banquet  will benefit the PKBGT Let’s Play Campaign, the tour’s mission to level the playing field and create 1,000 girls-only golf tournaments in the US. All donations are 100% Tax Deductible. To donate, visit: donate.pkbgt.org.
