Preview: SC One-Day Series at The Windermere Club

On July 23, 2016, the PKBGT will be playing the South Carolina One-Day Series Event at The Windermere Club ,The Windermere Club is a beautiful facility that hosted the 50th Twin States Girls’ Championship this year where many PKBGT players participated. The South Carolina One-Day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of  South Carolina One-Day Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course.

Featured in the 10-player Prep SC Series are Muskan Uppal  (Cornelius, NC 2019) and  Emily Song (Charlotte, NC 2019).  Muskan is currently ranked 22rd on the PKBGT Prep Order of Merit and has one win this season coming at the NC One-Day Series at Pine Island CC.  Emily is coming off a win at the PRECISION JR GOLF CHAMPSIONSHIPS last month and hoping to extend her great playing.

Featured in the 12-player Futures One-Day SC Series are  Mary Kathryn Talledo Blythewood, SC 2021), and Telie McCoy (Early Branch, SC 2019). Mary Kathryn is coming into the event with 3 Top-Ten finishes this season. Telie has participated in the first three SC Series events and has placed second and third in two out of three.

Awards will be presented to the top-5 finishers in each series.  We look forward to a great event!
