Tee times Round 2 and Round 1 Results

April 9th, 2011. Round 1 at the Carolina’s Classic was broken up by thunderstorms with all players on their last nine holes. Play resumed shortly after, and all but the last two groups were able to finish.
With colder than expected temperatures, some rain, thunder, and lightning, the PKB girls did not halter their competitive spirits.
Bryana Nguyen (76) of Columbia, MD is the current leader in the Bell division, as she sits at 5 over after round one. Two shots back is Lyndsey Hunnell (78) of Troutville, VA. Several girls are not far behind, at just 8 over: Lily Yatawara, Casey Ward, Jessica Merrill, Victoria Allred, and Allyson Markiewicz. With just a few shots separating these players, it will make for an exciting final day!
In the Futures division, Jessica Spicer (77) of Bahama, NC is two ahead of Jennifer Chang (79) from Morrisville, NC. Only one close shot behind in third is Sarah Spicer (80) Of Bahama, NC, who holed out an amazing shot on the par 5 hole 15 for an eagle! Our last two groups in the Futures division will have to finish out their 18th hole tomorrow morning, as the weather put an end to their round a little too early.
