Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour Water’s Edge

Penhook, Va — In this Sunday’s Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour action Lyndsey Hunnel of Troutville Virgina took home medalist honors after posting an 83 in competitive play and converting for par on her first playoff hole to beat Julie Lou of Herndon, Va.

This marked the first victory for Hunnell in the Bell division as she made the move up from the Futures for this event.

” I had great speed on my putts today and on these greens that really helped me shoot a solid score,” stated Hunnell.

Following Hunnell and Lou  in the Bell Division were Morgan Cranford of Greensboro, NC at 87, Morgan Pegram of Pfafftown, NC at 96, and Kathryn Jessick of Cary, NC at 99.

In the Future Division, Jessica Spicer of Bahama, NC took home medalist honors by 1 shot with a 78 over Alaina Yeatts of Durham, NC at 79, Rachael Wright of Roanoke, Va at 79, Sarah Spicer of Bahama, NC at 84, and Taylor Trent of Reidsville, NC at 86.
