Southern Pines NC — The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour was at Longleaf Golf Club in Southern Pines, NC this friday for their tenth event of the season. The field featured overal 30 girls from North Carolina to Florida. The Ellis Maples design was in great shape as firm and slick greens kept the field from red numbers, but still warranted some solid play.

The win marked the first for the 2012 grad and promised some added confidence towards her future. The Futures division featured a playoff between Peggy Kirk Bell Futures division order of merit leader Alaina Yeatts of Durham, NC and Jessica Spicer of Bahama, NC. Yeatts put together a back nine of level par 35 which included an eagle on the last par 5 to make it into overtime. However, it was the 12 year old Spicer that calmly made an up and down on the second playoff hole to capture her first PKB victory of her career.
