MIDATLANTIC Invitational Qualifier Event Preview

The 2012 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour tees off Saturday-Sunday, September 29-30 at the MIDATLANTIC Invitational Qualifier @ Lakeview GC. Lakeview GC, home of the James Madison University Dukes men’s and women’s golf teams, is a challenging course for this two-day Invitational Qualifier. The top four finishers in the qualifier will receive automatic entry into the PKBGT INVITATIONAL @ Grandover Resort (East Course) in November. The event features a field of 14 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 400 members and 94 alumni in the collegiate ranks.

The field features 14 golfers, highlighted by three of the top 45 players on the 2012 PKBGT Order of Merit lists, including: Allison Wong (Rockville, MD 2014) in 34th position, Elizabeth Bose (Norfolk, VA 2015) in 36th position, and Meagan Board (Roanoke, VA 2014) in 42nd position. Shannon Gramley (Sharon, PA 2013), Mary Bryan Owen (Baltimore, MD 2015), and Lauren Waller (Canonsburg, PA 2015) will be playing in their first PKB event this season hoping to capture one of the four invitations to the PKBGT INVITATIONAL tournament.

The MIDATLANTIC Invitational Qualifier @ Lakeview GC brings together the top players from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. It should be an exciting & challenging event.
