As you begin to plan out your spring and summer tournament schedules, you may be wondering “What fields are most beneficial to my daughter?”
With multiple tours, associations and ranking systems, it can become overwhelming to understand field strength, field size and scoring impact your daughter, both short and long term.
Join Tour Director Mike Parker on Wednesday, February 13th at 7 p.m. for “Tournament Scheduling to Maximizing Rankings and Exposure for My Daughter”, a webinar focused on answering your questions about creating a tournament schedule to maximize positive exposure and development of your daughter.
Mike brings over 17 years of tournament operation experience, including co-founding the PKBGT with Robert Linville in 2007 and serving as its Tour Director since inception. Mike has also directed the Precision Golf Junior Championships for ten years and was a Site Director for the U.S. Kid’s Golf World Championships for five.
As the creator of the PKBGT Performance Index and partner with the National Junior Golf Scoreboard and AJGA Performance Based Entry, Mike possesses an in-depth understanding of all the various rankings systems. He will share how your tournament selection impacts your standing and the impact they have on college coaches in the recruiting process.
Topics of discussion in the webinar will include:
- How the rankings work and whether they should matter to your daughter
- PKBGT progression pathway and how our model maximizes positive exposure & development
- Schedule development based on graduation year and experience (When should I apply to increase my PKBGT status?)
- Deciding when to move up PKBGT Classification
Following the conclusion of the presentation, there will be a Q&A for participants.
If you want to maximize the efficiency of your tournament schedule, ensure that you’re taking the right steps in the development of your daughter’s golf game and paving the best pathway for the possibility of college recruitment, join us next Wednesday!
