Featured Pairing: Round 1, Precision Junior Girls Championship

The PKBGT is back in action this weekend at the Bryan Park Golf Course Champions Course, host of the 2010 USGA US Amateur Public Links Championship. A Rees Jones’ championship golf course, Bryan Park has hosted the Precision Junior Girls every year on the PKBGT tour.

Wednesday, June 20th: 10:30 AM, Hole 1 

Skylar Sload, Kendall Turner, Amanda Sambach 

Skylar Sload (Ashburn, VA 2018) enters the field currently ranked 13th on the Bell Order of Merit and 21st on the Performance Index. Sload’s top finish of 2018 was a 5th place finish at the Boar’s Head Inn, played at the home course of her future alma mater, the University of Virginia. Sload finished T12 at last year’s Precision Junior Girls Championship.

Kendall Turner (Chesapeake,VA 2019), joins the field currently ranked 5th on the Bell Order of Merit and 11th on the PKBGT Performance Index. Turner has recorded a top 10 finish in every start on the PKBGT this year, featuring a 3rd place finish at the 2017 PKBGT Invitational, one of the top 50 junior girls events in the country. Kendall has committed to play at James Madison University beginning in the fall of 2019.

Amanda Sambach (Davidson, NC 2021), the 2017 Bell Order of Merit and five-time PKBGT Major Champion, including the 2017 PKBGT Invitational and 2018 PKBGT Open Championship , is currently ranked 1st on the PKBGT Performance Index, 3rd on the PKBGT Order of Merit and is ranked 117 nationally for junior girls (Junior Golf Scoreboard). Sambach has verbally committed to play collegiately at the University of Virginia, beginning in the fall of 2021.
