The Spring Season of the Peggy Kirk Bell Junior Girls Golf tour may have commenced this past weekend at the Country Club of Salisbury but the PKB Staff has planned a great summer. The summer season has two two day events and four one day events. These all start on June 15^that Longleaf Country Club in Southern Pines, NC.

The Bash at the Beach hosted at Kilmarlic Country Club in Powell’s Pointe, NC is rapidly approaching on June 26^th and 27^th. The Friday and Saturday event should be just as exciting as Salisbury. Friday night, after the conclusion of play, a Luau themed cookout will follow. The cookout will be full of more laughter, fun and excitement.

At the conclusion of the Summer events, the 2009 Order of Merit Champions will be announced.  Currently, Katherine Perry of Cary, NC leads the Bell Division Standings while Alaina Yeatts of Durham, NC leads the Futures Division Standings.  Following play at the Precision Golf Junior Girls Championships, the leaders is each Merit List will receive an AJGA Exemption (Bell Division – One Tournament Exemption, Futures Division – One Junior All-Star Exemption).
