Ingram, Wearn & Adams sit atop Precision Girls Championship after Day 1

Round 1 of the Precision Golf Junior Girls’ Championship is in the books at Bryan Park.  The PGS Jr Girls event is the Tour Championship event for the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour which features the top 12 – 18 junior girls from across the region.

In the Collegiate Prep BELL Division, three players share the lead after Day 1.  They are Kristi Ingram (Winston-Salem, NC), Lauren Wearn (Charlotte, NC) & Lori Beth Adams (Burlington, NC) who each carded an even par 72 on the Players Course at Bryan Park.  Following two shots back are JB Shavlik (Raleigh, NC) and Andrea Robbins (Liberty, NC) and three shots back are Megan Burhnam (Gastonia, NC) and Tour Order of Merit Leader Katherine Perry (Cary, NC).

In the FUTURES Division, Isabella Rusher (Salisbury, NC) and Morgan Shultz (Raleigh, NC) share the lead with 3 over par 75’s.

The final round of the tournament will be played tomorrow, August 19th on the Champions Course at Bryan Park.  The event is open to the public.
