Hall, Perryman, Geng champions at Commonwealth Girls Classic

Palmyra, Va. (March 19, 2026) — Despite the snow that hit the area just two days prior, players looked forward to the beautiful scenery and rolling hills of Lake Monticello Golf Course for this year’s Commonwealth Girls Classic.

In the Bell National division, Rose Hall (Yorktown, Va. 2029) took home the trophy with an impressive 74-72 — 146 (+2), amassing five birdies over both rounds. With an eagle on hole 14 during the second round, Katherine Yun (Ashburn, Va. 2028) placed second, ending the weekend with a two-day total of 71-77 — 148 (+4).

Making five birdies during the second round alone, Kanchana Duangsam (Orlando, Fla. 2026) finished in third with a score of 78-71 — 149 (+5). Ending each round with a birdie, Aditi Lakhawala (Kendall Park, N.J. 2029) placed fourth, completing the tournament with a two-day score of 75-75 — 150 (+6).

In the Prep Preview division, Kate Perryman (Glen Allen, Va. 2027) finished in first with two birdies in the first round, concluding the weekend with a two-day total of 80-76 — 156 (+12). With a birdie each day, Athena Lin (West Windsor, N.J. 2030) came in second, ending the tournament with a score of 80-77 — 157 (+13).

In a tie for third, Demi Mahiai (Chesapeake, Va. 2028) and Emma Zhong (Short Hills, N.J. 2031) both shot a total of 159 (+15), with Mahiai making a 80-79 and Zhong shooting a 78-81 for the tournament.

In the Futures National division, Isabella Geng (Blacksburg, Va. 2029) claimed first for her first-ever National PKBGT tournament. Her winning score for the weekend was 76-79 — 155 (+11).

In a tie for second was Carly Copeland (Chesapeake, Va. 2031) and McKenzie Eversole (Salem, Va. 2029), who shot 83-78 and 79-82, respectively, for a total of 161 (+17). With three birdies in her first round alone, Alexis Baek (Tysons Corner, Va. 2031) finished in fourth, concluding the tournament with a two-day score of 76-86 — 162 (+18).
