Join the PKBGT and Girls Golf of America in support of our friends at the LPGA Foundation in their mission of bringing the golf community together to empower and inspire more girls through the game of golf. This virtual two-person scramble fundraiser is benefiting the Renee Powell Fund and the Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour and Girls Golf of America are joining together with LPGA Girls Golf to support two great funds and scholarships meant for young ladies.

For the “Drive On for the Future” Virtual Scramble, members of the PKBGT golf community are invited to create a team of two, one adult and one junior, or two juniors, and play a two-person scramble at any 18-hole or 9-hole course of their choice. Registered teams will have the opportunity to win prizes and access a leaderboard with weekly updates. Entrance fees consist of a $50 donation (per team). Players will still need to pay the local golf course for their round.

The scramble rounds can be played any day between Oct. 19 and November 15.

To be eligible for the two prize packs, you MUST be registered for the virtual scramble, and you must post a picture of your scorecard or group on Instagram and use the hashtags #LPGAVirtualScramble and #PKBGT to be eligible.

A prize pack will be awarded to the lowest adult-child team and child-child team after November 15th.

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace. The 2020-21 season will feature over 110 tournaments in 10 states on the East Coast, and with over 1,000 members, the PKBGT is the largest girl’s only tour in the country.  Learn more about the PKBGT at http://www.pkbgt.org/.
