College Coaches Panel Hosted by PKBGT Alumnus

TEEING IT UP FOR SUCCESS: TOURNAMENT AND COLLEGE COACHES PANEL

PKBGT Alumnus and past Champion Bryana Nguyen is hosting a tournament and college coaches panel on Monday, July 15th at Hobbit’s Glen Golf Course in Columbia, MD to help raise funds for Stage 1 of LPGA Qualifying School this August. The panel will include collegiate golf coaches from UNC-Chapel Hill, Georgetown University, Towson University and the US Naval Academy.

Proceeds from the event will go toward Bryana’s dream of playing professional golf and also to encourage junior golfers on their own journeys.

ABOUT BRYANA

Bryana Nguyen grew up in Columbia, MD where she began her golf journey with The First Tee of Howard County. Then, proudly represented Atholton High School at the county, district and state levels. With three county wins, two district wins, and two state titles under her belt, Bryana took her game to the next level and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a full athletic scholarship.

Bryana was Student Athlete Advisory Council president, she received the Mildred McKaskill Award and the Jim Tatum Award, and she was voted ACC Top Six for Service. She had eight top10 finishes and played in two NCAA championships throughout her college career. In 2018, Bryana graduated UNC with a degree in Broadcast and Electronic Journalism.

What’s her next step? Bryana is in her first year as a professional golfer and plays in many state opens, mini-tour events and LPGA Monday Qualifiers. She is gearing up for LPGA Qualifying School in Palm Springs, CA this August. Her journey is a long one, but a fun one. Thank you for following along.
