Bae shoots 75 to claim victory by 4 at Wildwood Green

Raliegh, NC — The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour was in Raliegh, NC this weekend for the Wildwood Shoot Out at Wildwood Green Golf club.

The strong winds kept the girls from firing any sub par scores, but Raleigh’s Sarah Bae posted a respectable score of 75 for the victory.

The win was Bae first of the year, but the talented young Raleigh girls is no stranger to great golf.

After the win Bae commented “I played pretty solid golf today for the most part.”

Pretty solid indeed, as  her victory came in the midst of some very talented competition.
The win inched Bae closer to the order of Merit leader Katherine Perry putting her in fifth spot going into the upcoming two day event at Mooresville CC in Charlotte, NC.

Following Bae, were Andrea Robbins of Liberty, NC and Katelyn Dambaugh of Goose Creek, SC with 79’s, Taylor Allison of Elizabeth City, NC and Lori Beth Adams of Burlington, NC with 82.

In the Futures division it was Alaina Yeatts of Durham, NC taking the win by a single shot posting 83.

Following Yeatts was Nicolette Donovan of Cary, NC with 84, Katie Seymour of Wake Forest, NC with 85, and Sarah Spicer of Bahama, NC and Brianna Bulgarino of Raleigh, NC with 89 respectively.

The girls will be heading to Charlotte area in two weeks to play Mooresville CC in Mooresville, Nc on Saturday and Sunday April 25th & 26th.
