On Monday-Tuesday, June 23-24, the 2014 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the Golfdotz Classic at the Green Spring Valley Hunt Club. The course hosted the USGA US Junior Girls Championship and is a fantastic course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field of 15 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 375 members in 2013 and 262 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
The Bell Division-Prep Series field features 15 golfers, highlighted some standout players on the PKBGT Performance Index, including: Michelle Cabotaje (Fort Washington, MD 2018), Lena Capoccia (Bethesda, MD 2018), Hanna Jia (Potomac, MD 2015), Eunbbie Kim (Potomac, MD 2015), and Jane Moon (Lutherville Timonium, MD 2014).
The Golfdotz Classic brings together players from event brings together players from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. It should be a great tournament!
The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers.
