Local golf superstar Lori Beth Adams captures the Stoneycreek shoot out title on the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour
Stoneycreek, NC- This Saturday the girls of the Pegy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour ventured onto the ever challenging Stoneycreek GC.
The course lived up to its form testing the girls in all dimensions of the game, but in the end Burlington’s Lori Beth Adams took home first place honors with a 79.
Lori Beth was the only girl to post an under 80 score stating “its always an advantage to have played this golf course as much as possible and its always nice to win close to home.”
Following Lori Beth was Michelle Pilo from Apex, NC posting 83, Andrea Robbins from Liberty, NC shot 87, Kristi Ingram from Winston Salem posted 91, and Greensboro’s Morgan Cranford shot 93.
In the Futures division first place was decided by a playoff between the South Carolina girls of Lauren Stephenson from Lexington and Riley Lovorn of Anderson.
The two grils tied with 83’s during regurlar play and on the first playoff hole Stephenson won with a par to take home her first PKB title.
Following the two girls were Alaina Yeatts of Raleigh, NC with an 86, Nicollette Donovan of Cary, NC with an 87 and Jessica Spicer of Bahama, NC with an 88.
The PKB tours next stop with be in Raleigh, NC next saturday April 11th at Wildwood Green GC.
