Greensboro, N.C. (Sept. 2, 2026) — The start of the 2026-2027 season is just around the corner, and with it, the 18th annual PKBGT Invitational is quickly approaching. Here is everything you need to know about the PKBGT’s premier event, a top-30 event across the country.
What is the PKBGT Invitational?
One of the tour’s longest lasting events, the PKBGT Invitational bolsters some of the country’s best junior golfers and this fall the PKBGT Invitational is thrilled to return to the Country Club of Landfall!
The Country Club of Landfall annually hosts one of the top women’s collegiate events in the country, the Landfall Tradition, every October. With the Landfall Tradition recently concluded just a few weeks beforehand, the PKBGT Invitational will be set up as close as possible to the collegiate event, allowing players to be able to directly compare themselves to the nation’s top collegiate players in a competitive environment!
The event itself includes a practice round scheduled for the players on Friday, Nov. 13, followed by the annual Inspire. Dream. Achieve Banquet that evening where our 2025-2026 Order of Merit Champions will be recognized.
The first two rounds of tournament play will commence on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Sunday, Nov. 15, before the field size is reduced to the top-50% and ties. Following the cut, the final round will be played on Monday, Nov. 16 to decide the 18th PKBGT Invitational champion.
Past PKBGT Invitational champions include top amateur players in the country like Emilia Migliaccio, Amanda Sambach, Macy Pate, as well as former and current touring professionals including Katherine Perry Hamski, Lucia Polo, Anna Morgan, & Rachel Kuehn! Strong Field Taking Shape
The PKBGT Invitational is annually one of the PKBGT’s strongest fields of the year, and this year, the field is shaping up to be its strongest yet! So far 15 players have committed, all of whom are in the top-700 ranked players on Junior Golf Scoreboard, including 4 of the top-150 and 10 of the top-400!

How can I qualify?
While some players have earned their spot in the Invitational based on their performance on the PKBGT in 2026 and their play in PKBGT’s championship events, there are still opportunities to earn your spot in the field. If you’re looking to make it to this year’s event, there are just a few ways left to join this year’s field.
The first option is by being a Bell National top finisher at one of three upcoming national events at the start of our season:
- October 3-4: Greater Atlanta Girls Classic @ CC of Gwinnett
- October 17-18: Middle Atlantic Girls Classic @ Hidden Creek
- October 31-1: Hampton Roads Girls Classic @ Golden Horseshoe
If you do not meet the exemption criteria, qualifying at one of these events is the only way to guarantee entry to the 18th PKBGT Invitational. The final option to attempt to earn entry into the PKBGT Invitational field cannot guarantee a player a spot. Class 1 players can submit an application to try earning entry through an At-Large Exemption. This application will be available until Thursday, Sept. 24, with any At-Large selections being announced the following day.

The 17th PKBGT Invitational was one for the history books with Ella June Hannant winning a sudden-death playoff over Kennedy MacCleery and we are excited to return to the Country Club of Landfall to see what the 18th PKBGT Invitational has in store this November!
About the PKBGT
Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina. The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace. The 2025-2026 season will feature over 110 tournaments in 9 states on the East Coast, and with over 1,000 members, the PKBGT is the largest girl’s only tour in the country.
