The youngest player in the Bell National field found paydirt at DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware, to claim their first-ever PKBGT Bell-National title. Irene Kim (Woodstock, MD 2026) has made a name for herself in the DMV, firing LOW second rounds scores this season. Irene shared the overnight lead with Duke Women’s golf signee Rylie Heflin (Avondale, PA 2021) after their opening rounds of 72 (E) on a wind-ridden Saturday. Like what we saw at the Mid-Atlantic Girls Championship (MAG), Irene fired the second-lowest round of the day on Sunday to run away with the title at the former LPGA McDonald’s Championship site. Kim turned at (-2) on the day and added one more on her way in to win by three. Angelina Tolentino (Mount Laurel, NJ 2024) made the biggest move from sixth to second thanks to her low round of 68 (-4), an eight-shot swing from day one! Heflin finished with the bronze, and Sarah Lydic (Ocean View, DE 2024) finished in fourth.
Futures National
Vidhi Lakhawala (Kendall Park, NJ 2026) found herself with the overnight lead for her second straight event with the PKB Girls’ Tour. Lakhawala, the Mid-Atlantic Girls Championship Futures National medalist, fired an opening round of 75 (+3). She began on Sunday with a three-shot lead over Michelle Yeung (Clarksville, MD 2027). Vidhi made things interesting on Sunday, losing two of her shots to the field after nine holes. Fortunately for her, the field struggled on the back-nine giving Lakhawala a cushion as she trotted to the fifteenth tee with a four-shot advantage. Vidhi tapped in for bogey on the eighteenth to win by three for her second PKBGT Futures National title. Cailyn Park (Fairfax, VA 2025) finished runner-up, winning in a scorecard playoff over Yeung.
