Lexington, South Carolina: October 26 – Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Tour members dominate the field at the South Carolina High School League State Championship at the Country Club of Lexington this week. Seven PKB Tour members were among the top 10 finishers in this year’s 4A State Championship.
Kaitlin Matheson, a native of Wren, South Carolina, took the first place finish with a 72 on the final round. She was joined by Sydney Legacy, Kristi Goodman, Lauren Stephenson, Rachel Moore, Nicole Chin, and Savannah Goodman in the top 10. First and second place finishers, Kaitlin Matheson and Sydney Legacy, will play in the PKB Girls’ Tour season ending Invitational. The PKB Fall Invitational features the top 60 players on the tour for a two day shoot out.
PKB Tour members that played in the 3A SCHSL State Championship held three of the top 10 spots in the field. Grace Glaze, Sammie Buchanan, and Eden Howard were among top finishers in their field.
