Update: Palmetto Girls Classic

Murrels Inlet, SC- The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded a weather-shortened round at Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club. Due to unplayable course conditions, the first round has been suspended, and the final round has been canceled. The first round will conclude tomorrow, with the event being scored as an eighteen-hole tournament.

Bell National

Rain battled can best describe the shortened round of the Bell National leader who heads into tomorrow’s final five holes with a two-shot victory. Lydia Swan (North East, PA 2022), the winner of the Flat Creek Girls Classic, is in a prime position to take home the weather-shortened Palmetto Classic after a twelve hole score of 54 (+2). The toughest stretch of holes awaits the entire field, including the picturesque par-three seventeenth. Ella Perna is perched at the two spot with a current score of 56 (+4).

1. Lydia Swan (North East, PA 2022) / 54 (+2) [thru 13]

2. Ella Perna (Durham, NC 2022) / 56 (+4) [thru 13]
