Inside the Field: 2025 Spring Bell Invitational

Returning to University of Virginia’s Birdwood Golf Course at Boar’s Head Resort, the 2025 Spring Bell Invitational is shaping up to be one of the best fields the tour has ever seen.

The Spring Bell Invitational, will be played this year on March 25-27, featuring one of its highest-ranked fields ever! 26 players are ranked inside JuniorGolfScoreboard’s(JGS) Top-500 players in the country, 37 players are ranked inside Top-750, & 47 players are ranked inside the Top-1000! The field has amassed an impressive 147 combined PKBGT wins! The Spring Bell Invitational continues to bring together the top PKB players from across the country to compete for the championship!

With players from fourteen states and one from outside the United States– let’s take a look inside this year’s field of 51!

Highest Ranked Players

The top ranked player in the field is defending champion, Zoe Cusack (Potomac, MD 2026) looking to pickup where she left off in 2024. Cusack is the #43 ranked player on JGS and recently committed to the University of Virginia. She is coming off of a T5 finish in her last PKBGT start at the 2024 PKBGT Invitational.

Macie Rasmussen (Chesapeake, VA 2027) enters the event ranked #121 on JGS and the second highest ranked player in the field. The 2023 PKBGT Invitational champion already has two runner-up finishes in the ’24-25 PKBGT Season and looks to add another PKBGT Invitational title to her name.

Just following Rasmussen in the rankings is Keya Naik (Ashburn, VA 2025) at #133 on JGS. Naik is playing in her first PKBGT event of the year after signing to play at Clemson University this fall. With a handful of top finishes on the PKBGT, Naik aims to win her first PKBGT event his weekend.

Youngsters in the Field

A group of youngsters hope to make a name for themselves this week as they compete against a loaded field of older players. Lauren Davis (Cary, NC 2030), Natalia Henderson (Southern Pines, NC 2029), Sophia Lee (Duluth, GA 2029), Reese McMillan (Jupiter, FL 2020), and Ella Spence (Waxhaw, NC 2029) all enter the field at 14 years old or younger.
