Event Preview: Kandi Comer Girls Classic presented by River City Collective

Greensboro, NC- The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour returns to Virginia for the Kandi Comer Girls Classic presented by River City Collective. 

Bell National

In the Bell National division, twenty-two players will tee it up on the 5,955 yards par 72 setup!

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Elsie MacCleery — Crozet, VA  — Class of 2025 — #5 on the PKBGT Performance Index — Won the 10th PKBGT National Tournament of Champions and 2022 Kandi Comer Girls Classic
  • Macy Johnson — Salem, VA — Class of 2023 — #50 on the PKBGT Performance Index — Won 2022 Donna Andrews Invitational and HJ Glove Girls Championship
  • McKenzie Weddle — Floyd, VA  — Class of 2023 — #84 on the PKBGT Performance Index — 2 PKB Top-10’s in 2023

Futures National

In the Futures National division, twenty-one participants will compete on the 5,350 yards par 72 set up.

  • Sydney Dinh — Fairfax, VA  — Class of 2028 — #312 on the PKBGT Performance Index — 2 PKBGT runner-up finishes this season
  • Rose Hall — Yorktown, VA — Class of 2029 — #321 on the PKBGT Performance Index — Won 2022 Cutter Creek Girls Classic
  • Karoline Sweet — Moseley, VA — Class of 2028 — #353 on  the PKBGT Performance Index – 7 PKB top-10’s this season

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
