Hartwell, GA-The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded play at the Georgia Highlands Girls Classic hosted at Cateechee Golf Club. Everyone had a reasonable chance to snag the spot into the 2o2o PKBGT Tournament of Champions in the small field. The overnight leaders, Yedam Lee (Lawrenceville, GA 2021) and Ella Stoll (Acworth, GA 2022), held a slim one-shot lead over Olivia Pellerin (Greenville, SC 2024). The trio went back and forth atop the leaderboard going through the final round before Lee steadied the waves on the difficult closing stretch to run away for her second straight title in her home state.

1. Yedam Lee (Lawrenceville, GA 2021) / 78 / 80 = 158 (+16)

2. Lindsay Wayland (Canton, GA 2022 ) / 81 / 81 = 162 (+20)*

3. Olivia Pellerin (Greenville, SC 2024) / 79 / 83 = 169 (+20)

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The Tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the Tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace. The 2020 season will feature over 110 tournaments in 9 states on the East Coast, and with over 1,000 members, the PKBGT is the largest girl’s only Tour in the country.  Learn more about the PKBGT at http://www.pkbgt.org/.
