Preview: Imperial Girls Classic

Greensboro, NC- The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour begins their first of four straight weekends running two National Series events next weekend at the Imperial Girls Classic. Seven states will be represented in this full field at Green Valley Country Club in Greenville, South Carolina.

Bell National

In the Bell National division, twenty-nine players will tee it up on the 6000 yards par 72 set up.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Sydney Roberts — Chesnee, SC — Class of 2022 — #18 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Sarah Boteler — Greenville, SC — Class of 2021 — #55 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Averi Cline — Suwanee, GA — Class of 2022 — #56 on the PKBGT Performance Index

Play will begin on Saturday, March 20, at 11:00 AM EST (weather permitting).

Futures National

In the Futures National division, forty-three players will compete on the 5372 yards par 72 set up.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Maddie Peake — Pauline, SC — Class of 2023 — #193 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Darby Hancock — Lakeland, FL — Class 0f 2025— #196 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Alicia Fang — Waxhaw, NC — Class of 2026 — #205 on the PKBGT Performance Index

Play will begin on Saturday, March 20, at 11:00 AM EST (weather permitting).

 

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
