Update: Round 2 PKB Invitational at Bermuda Run CC

It was a crowded leaderboard going into the 2nd round of the 2019 PKBGT Invitational at Bermuda Run Country Club. Player’s competed on the club’s East course in Sunday’s round, which proved to be a challenge.

Following the second round of play, Amanda Sambach (Davidson, NC 2021) and Ffion Tynan (Tonyrefail, UK 2021) are tied for the lead with a two day total of 144, even par for the tournament! Each player had 3 birdies in today’s round, looking to keep the momentum going in the final round tomorrow.

Currently sitting in third place, 3 strokes off the lead is Rebecca Skoler (Needham, MA 2020) with a two day total of 147. Skoler capitalized on the front nine with two birdies on each of the par 3’s.

Sara Im (Duluth, GA 2023) and Cindy Song (Waxhaw, NC 2023) are tied for fourth place finishing the day at 148.

The field was cut to the low 50% and ties after today’s round, which was a score of  156 or better. Play continues on the East Course again tomorrow morning at 8:50 AM.
