The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour suspended the first round of the Peggy Kirk Bell Junior at Pine Needles Lodge and GC in Southern Pines, NC on Friday December 28, 2018. The weather held off for a majority of the day after an hour long rain delay pushed back the tournament’s shotgun start.
Groups began play at 11AM on Friday morning and were able to complete part of their round before the rain halted play. The first round is scheduled to resume on Saturday December 29, 2018 with an 8:30 AM shotgun start.
Upon the completion of the first round, the competitors will continue into their final round to determine the PKB Junior Champion in both the Bell National and Futures National divisions. The combined 75 players in the field will take the course bright and early as the driving range opens at 7AM.
An awards ceremony will be held following the final round to crown the winner of the PKB Junior and the top five finishers in each division. We look forward to a competitive final round at Ms. Bell’s home course in Southern Pines! Be sure to follow live scoring updates by clicking the image below!
