Winning the Last Chance Invitational Qualifier was Emily Brubaker (Raleigh, NC 2020) with a 1-over par, 72. By winning the qualifier, Brubaker secured her spot in the 2018 Tournament of Champions at Pinehurst Resort in December.

Winning a scorecard tiebreaker, finishing in second place with a 77 was Victoria Cook (Reidsville, NC 2020). In third place was Kelly Topiwala (Matthew, NC 2020) who also scored a 77.  In fourth place was Mallory Fobes (East Bend, NC 2019) with a 77 as well. Rounding out the top five was Autumn Carey (Manning, SC 2022) who shot a 79.

The five players earning an invitation in to the 2018 PKBGT Invitational are:

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
