Update: LPGA Symetra Tour’s PKBGT IOA Golf Classic Junior Qualifier

Insurance Office of America, LPGA Symetra Tour and The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour presents the inaugural LPGA Symetra Tour’s IOA Golf Classic Junior Qualifier

LONGWOOD, FL. — In partnership with the Insurance Office of America (IOA), the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour (PKBGT) has announced the final field for the LPGA Symetra Tour’s IOA Golf Classic Junior Qualifier, a qualifying event in which the winner receives an exemption into the LPGA Symetra Tour’s IOA Golf Classic on September 28-30, 2018 at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, FL.

Round 1 brought afternoon Florida thunderstorms a wet conditions, lengthening the already 6,000 yard setup at the exclusive qualifying event.

Leading the field after round 1 is Sophie (Yixian) Guo (Orlando, FL 2019) after firing a 2-under round of 69. Right behind Guo with a score of 70 is Meiyi Yan (Windermere, FL 2019). In a two way tie for third place is Rory Weinfurther (Midlothian, VA 2020) and Lauren Clark (Orlando, FL 2021) with scores of 73. Rounding out the top 5 is Karoline Tuttle (Lake Mary, FL 2022) with a score of 74.

The leaderboard is crowded with several players within reach of earning their way into the Symetra Tour’s IOA Golf Classic! Round 2 is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM, weather permitting. We look forward to an exciting finish!
