The Middle Atlantic Series included 11 One-Day tournaments in The Middle Atlantic, concluding this weekend with a two-day Series Finale. These events offer innovative yardage-based divisions to girls aged 9-17. The PKBGT Series Progression allows players to progress towards playing collegiate golf by playing yardage/skill appropriate tournaments as they develop their game.
One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of the One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course. The Middle Atlantic Series Finale at Fawn Lake CC features a field of 54 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour.
Leading the Prep Division after the first round is Bailey Davis (White Plains, MD 2023) with a round 1 score of 69 (-3). Bailey sank five birdies on the day. Sue Lee (Lorton, VA 2022) is currently sitting in 2nd place after firing a 73 (+1). Rounding out the top-3 is Rory Weinfurther (Midlothian, VA 2020) who finished the round with a 74 (+2).

The leader of the Discovery Division after round 1 is Kanchana Duangsam (Haymarket, VA 2026) with a score of 33 (-3) and sunk an eagle. Currently in 2nd place with a round 1 score of 39 (+3) is Makayla Grubb (Stafford, VA 2025). Everyone looks to continue their success at round 2 of the Middle Atlantic Series Finale. We look forward to a great 2nd round!
