Preview: North Carolina One-Day Series at Bermuda Run CC (West)

On Saturday, July 28th, the 2018 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the North Carolina One-Day Series at Bermuda Run Country Club.

The NC One-Day Series will include 11 One-Day tournaments in North Carolina, concluding with a two-day Series Finale at the end of the season. These events offer innovative yardage-based divisions to girls aged 9-17. The PKBGT Series Progression allows players to progress towards playing collegiate golf by playing yardage/skill appropriate tournaments as they develop their game.

One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course. The North Carolina One-Day Series event at Bermuda Run Country Club features a field of 48 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour.

Featured in the 11 player Prep Series are Kayla Dowell (Mebane, NC 2021), Erica Boyd (Charlotte, NC 2020) and Victoria Ladd (Greensboro, NC 2019).
