Preview: MA One-Day Series at The Hollows GC

On Saturday, August 4th, the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour in partnership with the Middle Atlantic PGA plays the re-scheduled  Middle Atlantic One-Day Series event at The Hollows in Montpelier, VA.

The MA One-Day Series will include 8 One-Day tournaments in the Middle Atlantic region, concluding with a two-day Series Finale at the end of the season. These events offer innovative yardage-based divisions to girls aged 9-17. The PKBGT Series Progression allows players to progress towards playing collegiate golf by playing yardage/skill appropriate tournaments as they develop their game.

One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course. The Middle Atlantic One-Day Series event  at The Hollows GC features a field of 20 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour.

Featured in the 10 player Prep Series are Tatum Walsh (Midlothian, VA 2021), Vynie Chen (Centreville, VA 2020) and Katie Park (Fairfax, VA 2022).
