Leading the Bell National Division after the first round is Danielle Suh (Herndon, VA 2020) with a round 1 score of 1-under par, 71. There is currently a two way tie for 2nd place. Julie Shin (Brambleton, VA 2022) and Isabel Bae (Bristow, VA 2021) both finished the day with a score of even par, 72. There is a two-way tie for 4th place. Halynn Lee (Cary, NC 2021) and Olivia John (Summerfield, NC 2018) both finished the day with a score of 2-over par, 74.
Leading the Futures National Division after round 1 is Averi Cline (Suwanee, GA 2022) with a score of 1-under par, 71. Currently in 2nd place with a round 1 score of even par, 72, is Reagan Southerland (Atlanta, GA 2023). There is a two-way tie for 3rd place. Annabelle Millard (St. George, UT 2022) and Megan Morris (Cary, NC 2021) both finished the day with a round 1 score of 1-over par, 73. Christina Cupelli (Fairfax, VA 2021) is currently in 5th place with a round 1 score of 2-over par, 74.
Everyone looks to continue their success at round 2 of the PKB Tour Championship at Salem Glen Golf Club. The tournament brings together players from 9 different states: Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Utah and Virginia. The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
