Recap: Chanticleer Classic at Coastal Carolina

On June 9-10, 2018 the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the Chanticleer Classic at Coastal Carolina’s Hackler Course in Myrtle Beach, SC. The event featured a field of 35 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour. 

In the Bell Division, Alexia Siehl (Fort Mill, SC 2022) posted a final round of -1 to win by 1 shot over Angelique Seymour (Fayetteville, NC 2019). Siehl’s two rounds of 74-71 (+1) was enough to earn her first win of the 2018 season! Finishing in a sole 2nd place, Seymour posted a final round of 70, the lowest round of the day. In a tie for third place with a total score of 74-73-147 was Abigayle Hatcher (Roebuck, SC 2019) and Adrian Anderson (Murrels Inlet, SC 2022). Finishing in 4th place with a score of 73-76- 149 was Megan Kanaby (Chappel Hill, NC 2019).

The Champion of the Futures National Division is Autumn Carey (Manning, SC 2022). She finished the weekend with a score of 10-over par, 78-76. In second place with a two day score of 78-77-155  was Cori Langford (Blythewood, SC 2020) In 3rd place with a total score of 83-73-156 was Kanlina Siehl (Fort Mill, SC 2021). Finishing in 4th place is Regan Clifford (Mount Pleasant,  2023) with a total score of 80-77- 157. Finishing in 5th place with score of 79-87-166 is Paige Paolucci (Blythewood, SC 2022).

The PKBGT National Series is back in action in a week with the Precision Junior Girls Championships at Bryan Park GC in Greensboro, NC. We look forward to a great event!

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
