On June 9-10, 2018 the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the Chanticleer Classic at the Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The event features a field of 40 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour. They will tackle the course at 5,721 yards in the Bell National Division and 5,287 yards in the Futures National Division.

Featured in the 21 player Bell National Division are Elizabeth Coffren (Owings, MD 2020), Megan Kanaby  (Chapel Hill, NC MD 2019) and Alexia Siehl (Fort Mill, NC 2022). Elizabeth is currently ranked 26th on the Bell National Order of Merit and finished T1 at the Maryland Classic at Laytonsville GC. Megan is currently ranked 36th on the Bell National Order of Merit. She finished T7th at the Tar Heel Classic at UNC Finley Golf Course. Alexia is currently ranked 49th on the Bell National Order of Merit and she finished T2nd at the Vicki DiSantis Qualifier at Pinewood Country Club.

Featured in the 28 player Futures Division are Kalina Siehl (Fort Mill, SC 2021), Megan Morris (Cary, NC 2021),  Bethany Welch (Matthews ,NC  2023).  Kalina is currently ranked 10th on the Futures National Order of Merit and had a T6th place finish at the Metrolina Classic at Rock Hill CC. Megan is currently ranked 15th on the Futures National Order of Merit and she had a 2nd place finish at the PKBGT Masters at Greenville CC.  Bethany is currently ranked 33rd on the Futures National Order of Merit and finished T8th at the Metrolina Classic at Rock Hill CC.

The Chanticleer Classic at the Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina brings together players from Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. We look forward to a great tournament!

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 500 members in 2016 and  over 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
