Update: Maryland Classic at Laytonsville GC

On June 2, 2018 the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the Maryland Classic at Laytonsville GC in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The event features a field of 45 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour. They will tackle the course at 5,814 yards in the Bell National Division and 5,232 yards in the Futures National Division.

Round 1 has currently been suspended due to lightning and thunderstorms in the area, but will resume tomorrow, Sunday June 3rd, at 7:30 AM. Players will meet in front of the clubhouse at 7:15 AM to be taken back out to their current positions on the course.

Following completion of Round 1, players will be repaired for Round 2 tee times beginning as scheduled, at 11:00 AM (weather permitting).

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
