Update: Pennsylvania Classic at Heritage Hills Golf Resort

On May 12-13, 2018 the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the Pennsylvania Classic at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York, PA. The event features a field of 33 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour. They will tackle the course at 6,000 yards in the Bell National Division and 5,145 yards in the Futures National Division.

Tied for first in the Bell Division after round 1 is Christina Lewis (Wexford, PA 2019) and Ester Park (Wilmington, DE 2019) with scores of 74. Currently in third place with a score of 75 is Meher Mankikar (Bridgewater, NJ 2020) and in a three way tie for fourth place is Jessica Rathbone (Montpelier, VA 2020), Lydia Swan (North East PA 2022), and Haley Quickel (Middletown, DE 2020) with scores of 76.

Leading the Futures Division after round 1 is Abby Chen (Bethesda, MD 2021) with a score of 74. Currently in second place with a score of 76 is Faith Mcilvain (Ellicott City, MD 2020) and in a tie for third place is Michelle Cox (Allentown, PA 2021) and Riley Quatermain Bryn Mawr, PA 2021) with scores of 81 . In fifth place sits Caroline McConnell (South Fayette, PA 2022) with a score of 82.

Awards will be presented to the top-5 finishers in each division. We look forward to an exciting finish for round 2!

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
