Update: Metrolina Classic at Rock Hill CC

On April 28, 2018 the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played round 1 of the Metrolina Classic at Rock Hill Country Club in Rock Hill, SC. The event features a field of 66 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour. They will tackle the course at 5,868 yards in the Prep Southeast Division and 5,230 yards in the Futures National Division.

Leading the Prep Division after round 1 is Rachel Rich (Mt. Pleasant, SC 2020) with a score of 2-over par, 74. Currently in a tie for 2nd place with a score of 76 is Nicole Adam (Pinehurst, NC 2020) and Cindy Song (Waxhaw, NC 2023). Carley Rudolf (Virginia Beach, VA 2019) and Emily Song (Waxhaw, NC 2019) are currently in a tie for 4th place, both with scores of 77.

Leading the Futures Division after round 1 is Autumn Carey (Manning, SC 2022) with a score of 80. Currently in a tie for 2nd place with a score of 84 are Elizabeth Lohbauer (Huntersville, NC 2021) and Lillie Smith (Fort Mill, SC 2018). Madison Lynn Dixon (Inman, SC 2023) and Kalina Siehl (Fort Mill, SC 2021) are currently in a tie for 4th place, both with scores of 85.

Awards will be presented to the top-5 finishers in each division. We look forward to an exciting finish for round 2!

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
