— Live Scoring —

The PKBGT season is in full swing with our next tour stop on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  On March 4-5, the PKBGT tour will have a full field of 90 girls on the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  One of the most popular events on the tour schedule, the Tar Heel Classic attracts one of the largest and strongest fields of the season.  In 2015, Duke committee Gina Kim (2018, Chapel Hill, NC) claimed the title by 6 strokes with a record breaking 4-under par 2-day total of 140.  Past champions also include Wake Forest committee Emilia Migliaccio (2017, Cary, NC) in 2013 & 2014 and current Ohio State junior Jessica Porvasnik, two of the top players in PKBGT history.

Leading the Bell Series is Caroline Wrigley (Wexford, PA 2019) fired a 1-under par 71 today to lead by one stroke over Emily Hawkins (Lexington, NC 2018) who shot a 72 today.  In third place with a round of 74 is Lauren Freyvogel (Gibsonia, PA 2019).

Leading the Prep Series after round one with a share of the lead Lexanne Halama (Knoxville, TN 2021) and Grace Jones (Haysville, NC 2020), who each shot a 5-over round of 77.  In a three-way tie for third place is Kendal Abrams (New Freedom, PA 2018) Katherine Schuster (Kill Devil Hills, NC 2021) and Cassidy Chambers (Goodview, VA 2018) each with a 78.

Leading the Futures Series is Erin Singleton (Apex, NC 2020) with a round of 76.  In sole second place with a round of 78 is Halynn Lee (Cary, NC 2021).  In a two-way tie for third is Tatum Walsh (Midlothian, VA 2021) and Katie Park (Fairfax, VA 2022) each with a round of 80.

Prizes will be awarded to the top-five players in each of the three series immediately following play tomorrow.  We look forward to an exciting finish!
