— Live Scoring —

Day 1 is in the books for the Tiger Classic at Clemson’s University’s Walker Course.  The course conditions were tough with strong winds throughout the day.  The girls held strong and played through the tough conditions.

Leading the Bell Series after round one is  Louise Yu (Duluth, GA 2017) firing an even par round, 72.  Louise had a three of birdies early on in her round and was able to maintain the steady play throughout the day.  Close behind Yu in a tie for second place are Holly McCann (Wexford, PA 2019) and Caroline Wrigley (Wexford, PA 2019) each with a 74.  It is still anyone’s game in the Bell Series and we look forward to an exciting conclusion tomorrow!

We have two leaders in the Prep Series after round one is Phoebe Carles (Clinton, SC 2020) and Chloe Holder (Williamston, SC 2021) after carding rounds of 79 .   Close behind third place is Mallory Fobes (East Bend, NC) with a round of 81 In fourth place with a round of 82 is Anna Tsiros (Asheville, NC 2019). Its a tightly packed race in the Prep Series!

Leading the Futures Series with a score round of 73  is Sara Im ( Duluth, GA 2023).  Sara played a great back nine with three birdies to a score of 34 and continued to play well on the difficult front side.  Close behind Im in a four-way tie for second place are Karlee Vardas (Lexington, SC 2021), Layla Meric (Wesley Chapel, NC), Alexia Siehl (Fort Mill, SC 2022), and Hannah Nall (Cleveland, TN 2022) at 79.  We expect a dramatic finish to the Futures Series after round two as well!

The awards ceremony will take place after the conclusion of play and will honor the top-five finishers in each series.
