Recap: Sudjianto, Song Win NC One-Day Series @ Pine Island CC

— Live Scoring —

On July 18, 2017, the PKBGT played the North Carolina One-Day Series tournament at Pine Island Country Club, home to the Carolinas Golf Association’s Vicki DiSantis Girls’ Championship. One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course.

Winning the Prep Series was Alexis Sudjianto (Charlotte, NC 2019) with a three over par, 75.  A scorecard playoff determined second and third place. In second place with a round of 77 was Mara Hirtle (Pinehurst, NC 2020).  In third place, also with a 77 was Emily Song (Charlotte, NC 2019).  A scorecard playoff also determined fourth place and Kathryn Elliott claimed fourth place, shooting 79.

Winning the Futures Series was Cindy Song (Waxhaw, NC 2023) shooting an impressive five under par, 67.  In second place with a 77 was Liza Lapeyre (New Orleans, LA 2022).  In third place with an 80 was Elyssa Kim (Charlotte, NC 2019).  In fourth place was Hannah Lindemann (Charlotte, NC 2021) with an 81.

Congratulations to all of our PKBGT top finishers! Our next NC One-Day Series Event is the NC One-Day Series at Bryan Park GC in Greensboro, NC. There is still time to register!
