Update: Sambach, Nall Lead After Round 1 of Precision Jr. Girls Championships at Bryan Park

On Wednesday – Thursday, June 21-22, the 2017 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the PGS JR GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP at Bryan Park Golf Course (Champions Course). Bryan Park, home to the University of North Carolina-Greensboro Spartans golf teams, is a fantastic venue for the fourth championship event of the season. The event features a field 36 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour.  

Leading the Prep Series are Amanda Sambach (Davidson, NC 2021), Olivia John (Summerfield, NC 2018), Hailey Joy (Reidsville, NC 2018), Emelia Pack (Browns Summit, NC 2019), and Lotte Fox (Raleigh, NC 2018). Amanda leads the pack shooting -1, 71 today. Olivia follows closely behind shooting even par, 72. In a three-way tie for third, just four strokes back of the lead are Hailey, Emelia, and Lotte shooting 75 today.

Leading the Futures Series is Hannah Nall (Cleveland, TN 2022) with a 74.  In sole second place with an 77 is Trinity Muthomi (Kernersville, NC 2022).  Sitting in 3rd place is Laney Wessels (Sophia, NC 2021) with a 78. Just one shot behind her is Danielle Buompastore (Hoover, AL 2018) with a 79.

We should have an exciting finish in both divisions!

Prizes will be awarded to the top-6 finishers in each series.  We look forward to a great event!

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers.
