On Saturday, June 10, the 2017 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the South Carolina One-Day Open Series at Mid Carolina Club. The goal of One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course. The event featured a field of 41 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour.

The Champion of the Prep Series was determined by a sudden death playoff. Jordan Guyton (Columbia, SC 2019) came out on top, firing a 77. She was followed Madison Branum (Lexington, SC 2018) also with a score of  77. Rounding out the top three was Victoria Hall (Moore, SC 2018) only two strokes behind the leaders, with a 79. Finishing in fourth place was Kennedy Gooding (Lexington, SC 2022) with a score of 81.

In the Futures Series, Cindy Song (Waxhaw, NC 2023) shot the low round of the day with a 76. Following her in second place with an 79 was Madison Lynn Dixon (Inman, SC 2023).
