On June 9, 2017 the PKBGT will be playing the North Carolina One-Day Series Event at Pinewood Country Club. The North Carolina One-Day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of  North Carolina One-Day Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course.

Featured in the 8-player Prep One-Day NC Series is Bailee Twiford (Coinjock, NC 2019) and Emily Song (Charlotte, NC 2019). Bailee is currently ranked 42nd on the Storie Apparel Order of Merit – NC, and is coming off of a 1st place finish at the Hampton Roads Classic @ Cahoon Plantation GC. Emily is currently ranked 53rd on the Storie Apparel Order of Merit – NC, and was runner-up at her last NC One-Day Series Event at Monroe Country Club. Both players look to continue their success this weekend at Pinewood Country Club.

Featured in the 25-player Futures One-Day NC Series is Cindy Song (Waxhaw, NC 2023) and Lauren Denhard (Salisbury, NC 2019). Both players are coming off of excellent performances at the PKBGT Open Championship presented by Bargray at The Country Club of Salisbury. Cindy is currently ranked T25 on the Storie Apparel Order of Merit – NC and finished in 3rd place at the PKNGT Open Championship. Lauren is currently ranked 18th on the Storie Apparel Order of Merit – NC and finished 13th at the PKBGT Open Championship. Both players look to continue their success this weekend at the NC One-Day Series Event at Pinewood Country Club.

Awards will be presented to the top-4 finishers in the Prep & Futures Series, and the top-2 finishers for the Discovery Series.  We look forward to a great event!
