On May 13, 2017, the PKBGT will be playing the South Carolina One-Day Series Event at The Windermere Club. The Windermere Club is a beautiful facility that hosted the 50th Twin States Girls’ Championship last year where many PKBGT players participated. The South Carolina One-Day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of South Carolina One-Day Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course.
Featured in the 12-player Prep One-Day SC Series is Charleigh Hodges (Mooresville, NC 2018). Charleigh is currently ranked 3rd on the Storie Apparel Order of Merit – NC, and is coming off her first win this season at the PKBGT Masters at Greenville Country Club. She looks to continue her success this weekend at the Windermere Club.
Featured in the 22-player Futures One-Day SC Series is Macy Pate (Boone, NC 2023) and Amber Capote (Waxhaw, NC 2020). Macy and Amber both finished T8 in their last PKB event, the NC One-Day Series at Forrest Oaks Country Club. Both players are also currently ranked T8 in the Storie Apparel Order of Merit – NC.
Awards will be presented to the top-4 finishers in each series. We look forward to a great event!
