Update: Domenech Leads, Tie at the Greater Richmond Classic

On Saturday-Sunday, April 8 & 9, the 2017 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour will play the Greater Richmond Classic at Magnolia Green Golf Club. Magnolia Green, was ranked #8 on Golf Digest’s Top 10 2015 Best New Courses, is a Nicklaus Design in association with Tom Clark and a beautiful course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field 24 players from 7 states in the Prep and Futures Series.

Leading the Prep Series is Diana Cristina Domenech (Richmond, VA 2018) with a 76. In second and third place with an 81 and 82 are Madison Isaacson  (Greensboro, NC 2018) and Paris Fieldings (Suffolk, VA 2023).

Leading the Futures Series in a four-way tie for first place are Parker Perry (Richmond, VA 2020) Julie Shin (Brambleton, VA 2022) Hannah Jonely  (Ashburn, VA 2020) and Tatum Walsh  (Midlothian, VA 2021) with an 83.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
