Recap: Wotnosky Wins Last Chance Qualifier @ Forest Oaks

On Saturday, November 5, 2016 the PKBGT played the Last Chance Invitational Qualifier at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, NC.  This course is known for the PGA Tour event that was held there for 30 years: the Wyndham Championship, formerly known as the Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic, and the Greater Greensboro Open (GGO).  This was also a preview event for the 2017 PKBGT season.

Winning the qualifier today was Haeley Wotnosky (Wake Forest, NC 2018) with an even par 72.  In second place with a 75 was Mogie Adamchik (Raleigh, NC 2017).  In third place with a 77 was Kayla Smith (Burlington, NC 2019).

The five players earning an invitation in to the 2016 PKBGT Invitational are:

  1.  Kayla Smith (Burlington, NC 2019) – 77
  2. Hailey Pendleton (Waxhaw, NC 2020) – 78
  3. Michelle Harn (Charlotte, NC 2019) – 78
  4. Jayla Rogers (Wilmington, NC 2018) – 79
  5. Mara Hirtle (Pinehurst, NC 2020) – 79

The Invitational will take place on November 12-14, 2016.  We look forward to a great tournament!

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers.
