Recap: Rathbone, Chen Win Middle-Atlantic Finale @ The Hollows

The PKBGT finished up it’s first Middle Atlantic One-Day Series at the Hollows Golf Club today.  The tournament was played as rescheduled event from October 8th.  The Hollows features three 9-hole courses and the tournament was played on the Cottage/Road nines.  The Hollows GC

Winning the Prep Series was Jessica Rathbone (Montpelier, VA 2020) with a round of 75.  In second place by one stroke was Bailey Davis (White Plains, MD 2021) with a 76.  In third place also by one stroke was Caroline Hodge (Larchmont, NY 2018) with a 77.  The top-2 players earned an invitation to the PKBGT Invitational and the champion earned a spot into the Tournament of Champions.

Winning the Futures Series was Emma Chen (Derwood, MD 2022) with a round of 78.  In second place by one stroke was Sue Lee (Lorton, VA 2022) with a 79.  In third place Katie Park (Fairfax, VA 2022) with an 81.  The champion from the Futures Series has earned a spot to place in the PKBGT Tournament of Champions.

Winning the Discovery Series was Taylor Sargent (Milton, WV 2023) with a round of 40.  In second place was Chloe Boyd (Glenn Dale, MD 2024) with a 53.

Congratulations to Middle Atlantic Series Order of Merit Champion Jadan Harman (Harrisonburg, VA 2019).  Jaden has also earned an invitation to the PKBGT Invitational.

The PKBGT returns to action with the Last Chance Qualifier at Forest Oaks CC on November 5th!

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers.
