On Monday-Wednesday, July 7-9, the 2016 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Team Championship at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club (Green Course) in Williamsburg, VA. The course has served as host to multiple college events and is a great course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field 37 players from 17 different LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Programs across the country.

The event will features two-girl teams structured in three divisions: Championship, Futures, and Discovery. Round one will be a Team Choice Scramble where each player hits then plays from the preferred shot and round two will be a Four Ball Stroke Play where each player plays her own ball and the lower score of the two players is the team score each hole.

The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Team Championship at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club (Green Course) brings together players from from Arizona, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. It should be a great tournament!
